West Bloomfield dominated Oakland Activities Association Red Division rival Clarkston 73-47 to remain unbeaten in league play on Thursday, Jan. 9, at West Bloomfield.
The Lakers improved to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in division. Clarkston fell to 5-3/1-2.
Clarkston and West Bloomfield were tied 14-14 at the end of the first quarter. West Bloomfield used a 13-3 run at the end of
the second quarter to take a 34-24 lead at the half. The Lakers
expanded the lead to 56-41 after three quarters.
Freshman Sydney Hendrix scored a game-high 17 points for the Lakers while junior Logan Lewis added 15 points in the win. .
West Bloomfield was coming off a huge 71-63 win over Southfield Arts & Technology on Monday.
West Bloomfield travels to Royal Oak on Friday, Feb. 17.
