   Birmingham Roeper powered to a 56-14 win over the West Bloomfield Frankel Jewish Academy in girls basketball action on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at Roeper’s Community Center in Bloomfield Hills.

  Roeper led 8-5 after one quarter. The Roughriders increased the lead to

 

29-8 at halftime and led 44-14 after three quarters.

   Senior Scarlett Shaya led Roeper with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Sofia Salinas had 13 points. Freshman Natalia Salinas added eight points. Senior Flawless Gregory scored seven points. Ava Thomas added five points and Signa Smith scored four points.

   Roeper travels to Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett on Tuesday, Dec. 14.
