Hudsonville holds off Detroit Renaissance to earn first championship
Hudsonville won the 2021 Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 girls basketball championship, beating Detroit Renaissance, 65-61. Jaci Tubergen scored 28 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the Eagles to their first MHSAA championship. Alaina Diaz had 15 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Emmalynn Costen had seven points and six rebounds. Eva Joldersma had four points and 11 rebounds. Maddie Petrpelje added five points and six rebounds. Hudsonville is 45-2 over the past two seasons.
