   Clarkston Everest Collegiate cruised to a 48-29 over Catholic High School League Intersectional Division rival Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes in girls basketball action Wednesday, Jan. 19, at Everest.

   Everest improved to 7-1 overall and 3-1 league play. Lakes fell to 4-5 overall and 1-4 in the CHSL.

   Freshman forward Sarah Bradley scored 13 points to lead the Mountaineers. Senior point guard Celeste James, junior forward Addy Bautel, and senior guard Celine Legg each had 10 points. Senior forward Audrey Beauchamp added four points.

   The Mountaineers led 32-13 at halftime.

   Everest travels to Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood (7-1/3-0) on Tuesday, Jan. 25. Cranbrook handed Everest its only loss on Jan. 7, 49-40.
