   Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood earned its first girls basketball win of the season, beating previously undefeated and Catholic High School League Intersectional 1 rival Clarkston Everest Collegiate 45-32 on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Cranbrook.

   Cranbrook improved to 1-3/1-1 on the season. Everest fell to 3-1/0-1.

   The Cranes led 23-12 at halftime and 33-25 after three quarters.

  Freshman Yasmyn Palmer led the Cranes with 11 points. Sophomore Jordan Richie and senior Lana Fadlallah both scored eight points. Senior Charlotte Trunsky had six points. Junior Kendall McCaskill and sophomore Rachael Claxton both added four points in the Cranes’ balanced attack.

   Cranbrook hosts Marine City Cardinal Mooney on Saturday, Feb. 20.
